HBC July 4th Ride
It's July 4th on Friday, so please join us for an Independence Day ride! As is traditional for a holiday ride, we shall venture up into Nashville, but this route starts and finishes in familiar HBC territory just north of Franklin. Starting at Grassland School the route works it's way up to Nashville via Percy Warner Park, Bell Meade and some short sections of Greenway. The half way point is at Centennial Park where we will take a break. We'll then head through Vanderbilt, Hillsboro and south on Lealand Lane. The route takes us on various quiet roads as we head back south, approaching Grassland over the final climb on Manley Lane East
The ride will be led by Tony (a Brit - how ironic is that?) at a Collegial pace. At this stage rest stops are not clear, but we shall find refreshment. The route was last used in 2023 and has not been pre-ridden this year, so it will be an adventure - not quite covered wagons rolling into the undiscovered West, but we'll do our best!
