Our outstanding team of evening ride leaders (Fredia, Pete, and Scott) has devoted tremendous thought and efforts to the course of our Tuesday night HBC ride, and with the early sunsets this may be the grand finale for the season.  We're doing a longer (36 miles) route this week.  The first 25 miles or so will be in daylight, but after that it'll be dark.  So a bright front light and blinky red rear light are absolutely required!  The planned route has low traffic, but bright-colored clothing is recommended.  Kudos to Mark Bartleson for the idea and route!

This ride is NOT for novices.  Fredia Barry and Pete Cacchioli will lead this week, but there is no sweep, so riders are responsible for knowing the route, as detailed below.  As always, our leaders will make sure everyone who left the parking lot with our group has returned before they depart after the ride (and go looking for them if necessary).

Conditions look very pleasant for this Tuesday.  But when the ride has to be canceled because of weather, Fredia will send a message by the General List. So be sure you have subscribed to that list.
