Hunters Bend Ride!
KinderCare parking lot, on the left at the entrance to Hunters Bend Elementary School, 2121 Fieldstone Parkway, (corner of Hillsboro Road & Fieldstone Pkwy.), Franklin 37069

Because daylight is getting short, we'll start this ride at 5:15.  The plan is to take the 24-mile Late Season route, but depending on nightfall we may cut it short by omitting Temple Road.  Sunset is at 6:17 P.M., so a strong headlight and taillight are required and bright clothing is recommended!

The ride attracts both racers and regular riders, but it is NOT for novices.  Fredia Barry and Scott Thurston will lead the ride but there is no sweep, so riders are responsible for knowing the route, as detailed below.  As always, our leaders will make sure everyone who left the parking lot with our group has returned before they depart after the ride (and go looking for them if necessary).  On occasions when the ride must be cancelled, Fredia will send a message by the General List.
