Next weekend Durk is on a secret mission, so Bruce Green will be stepping forward to lead Polar Bear ride #8 to Fairview and beyond.
Choose between 41 and 35 mile options. Both routes get an early warm up on Wilkins Branch before heading north along Old 96 and over the river. We take Caney Fork (caution! a few potholes), then King Road up to Fairview before skirting around Bowie Nature Park and finding the Gas Station rest stop at mile 20. Everyone then follows Fernvale Road down to the river where the routes split. The shorter route riders turn right and retrace their steps before splitting off and returning via Hargrove and Pinewood. The long group go left on Old Harding, up Big East, do the brief bushwack from Fire Tower Road onto the Trace, then back down to Leipers Fork.
