McMillan, Oscar & Big East!

Bruce Green returns from his Ohioan odyssey to lead us on a 54 mile spin from Westhaven over to Green Brier and Fairview.  The route includes regular (well loved?) climbs including Garrisson, Oscar Green and Big East, but, of course, the fun descents of Fernvale Road and Still House Hollow. The rest stop is at Fairview gas station at mile 32. 

There is also a shorter route of 36 miles which skips Garrison and Oscar Green but still tackles Big East and has the bonus climb of Wilkins Branch. There is no rest stop on this route, although you will be passing the Leipers Fork store at mile 12.  Bob Whitmer will be leading a Collegial ride on the short route for those who want a more conversational pace.
