Saturday, Sept. 14 - 8:00 A.M. - Grassland Middle School, 2390 Hillsboro Rd., Franklin 37069 - Back by Poplar (Creek) Demand! - For Saturday, R.J. Locurto will lead us on another challenging ride from Grassland to Fairview. This is the first time this season that we've begun the ride at Grassland School. R.J. is not giving us quite as much climbing as last week's ride, but there are still some good hills such as Mt. Pleasant and CCC Road. There are also two nice, mainly flat segments on scenic Poplar Creek. The Long route is 57 miles, with a rest stop mile 32 at Fairview. There is a Short option of 30 miles that also indulges the pleasures of Poplar Creek. Here are the cue sheets:
