Saturday, Nov. 23 - 9:00 A.M. - Polar Bear Ride - Water Valley Wander! - Hillsboro Elementary School in Leipers Fork, 5412 Pinewood Rd., Franklin 37064 - For Saturday Durk will start us off like last week, but we'll stay in more familiar country! There are options of 36 and 50 miles. Everyone will climb Sulphur Springs and make the long, fun run down Snow Creek to Santa Fe at mile 20. There the Short riders will have their rest stop and return by Gaskill Branch and Raleigh Beard. The Long riders will cover all that ground eventually but do an extra loop in the middle. They'll go up and down Fly Road and stop to visit Mr. Wilson Fly at his rustic store, where we are sure of a warm greeting! Then they'll follow the nice, new, smooth pavement to and through Water Valley before returning to Santa Fe. Here are the cue sheets:
