Saturday, Mar. 14 - 9:00 A.M. - Polar Bear Ride - Hillsboro Elementary School in Leipers Fork, 5412 Pinewood Rd. - Akin-Water Valley Wander - There's a chance of rain on Saturday, but if it's dry Durk has another fun route to the south in store.  There are options of 34 and 52 miles.  After Garrison and Bending Chestnut, both routes go out Leipers Creek to Fly.  The Long route goes on to Water Valley, Akin Ridge, and Snow Creek to Santa Fe, returning by Godwin and Skelley.  Meanwhile, the Short riders can stop at Nett's and then take a shortcut on Fly Road to hook up with the other route after covering part of Chestnut Ridge.  Both routes come home with the fun run down Skelley and onto Leipers Creek, especially if there's a tailwind!  Here are the cue sheets:
