Saturday, Jan. 4 - 9:00 A.M. - Polar Bear Ride - Shelby's Birthday Bolt! - Hillsboro Elementary School in Leipers Fork, 5412 Pinewood Rd. - This Saturday is Shelby Monroe's birthday, and we had hoped to have a full route of 71 miles that he has designed.  But because of the weather, we've scaled back (at least for this week) to the 40-mile option.  The route features South Lick and Tom Rail and then the nice descent on Steam Mill Hollow before a rest stop at the Fly Store at mile 22.  Then we'll take the climb up Fox Branch and follow the Old Trace to Mobley's Cut.  Here is the cue sheet:
