Santa Fe or Bust! 
For this Saturday's long ride, Tony Pile will lead on the west side, on a route that should provide some shade from the sun - if it shines!  The start is at Hillsboro School in Leipers Fork.  Tony's route is 51 miles, with a rest stop at the Santa Fe store at mile 20.  This route enjoys Lick Creek, tackles Shoals Branch, takes the fun run down Pewitt, and then climbs Backbone Ridge.  Due to the heat the ride will start at 7:00 A.M.  Here's the cue sheet:

Meanwhile, the Short, Collegial Ride begins at 8:00 and will be led by Amy Crownover at a 14-16 mph pace.  It does the gentle climb up Sulphur Springs and then takes the nice run on Snow Creek all the way to Gaskill Branch.  On the way home, it takes Davis Hollow and Peach Hollow for a fun jaunt.  The route is 36 miles.  Here's the cue sheet:
