On Saturday we'll try once more to do Durk's route that keeps being rained out!  It's a challenging course down to and beyond Santa Fe.  We'll have the early climb on Raleigh-Elam Road and still traverse Turkey Creek.  After a stop at Santa Fe at mile 26, the long 50-mile route gets up to Theta by way of Haywood Hollow and Gravel Hill.  (Question of the Week: Can you name all seven ways up to Theta?)  The Short option is 40 miles.  It travels with the Long route for the first 19 miles but then skips Turkey Creek and makes it to the Santa Fe market by Water Valley Road.  Then it comes home by Gaskill Branch and Skelley.  Here are the maps and cue sheets:
