Bear but no Buffalo
This is a re-attempt at the ride that was rained off 2 weeks ago………..
This weekend we welcome Ann Allanson into the leader's chair (saddle?) for our Saturday ride. Thanks to Ann for volunteering. Ann has chosen a variant of a route we've not done for some time, that takes us along Bear Creek and off in search of Buffalo.
As we are starting from Westhaven, we don't need to go as far east as usual but will be tackling some fine west side roads we've not ridden recently with a few good climbs scattered around, as you would expect.
There are three routes to choose from. The 54 and 44 miles routes stop at Burwood Store at mile 18, and then again at the Leipers Fork gas station 11 miles from home. Ann will be sweeping the long route. The 30 mile Collegial route is lead this week by Donna Moore, and has an optional rest stop at the half way point of Davis General Store.
