Paw Paw Pitiful Me
Our good friend RJ Locurto will be leading us on a ride across the eastside. Starting from Creekside elementary we cut north via Trinity, a vert short stint on Wilson Pike and then the fun pull up and over Burke Hollow with the 2.5 mnile descent. Skirting the south side of Nolensville we climb up Sandford and down to Paw Paw Springs then roll on to the Rest stop at Almaville Market. Over the 840, we run down to the Patterson area before turning west towards College Grove, then Arno, then catching Cool Springs north through Peytonsville and back up to the school. The shorter 41 mile route is the same until Patterson Road where it turns west, runs straight to Arrington, over the railway crossing at McDaniel (hope the train drivers not parked across the junction for a sleep) and on through Rudderville. (If the rail-crossing is blocked, turn back take Cox Road north, Left on Murfreesboro road with it’s wide shoulder, left on Lampkins Bridge and right on McDaniel - adds c.2 miles)
