Chicken Run 3
Now in it's 3rd year, and I've forgotten why it's called Chicken Run. The ride takes us up Wilkins Branch and Caney Fork to reach Fairview. The 47 mile route pushes on north of Hwy 100 before looping back and stopping at the Gas Boss. It then swings round to the west and tackles Barnhill Road and North Lick Creek on the way back in. The 39 mile route has a short loop over Hwy 100 then heads down to North Lick via Deer Ridge, Mangrum and Green Chapel. Russ will be the ride leader, sweeping the long route.
Jill Flowers will be leading the 31 mile collegial option, which follows a similar route to the 39 mile option including the rest stop at Fairview
