Take the Trace to…….
With the weather back to more reasonable temps we have a metric century option this Saturday, the ever popular Hoover Gap route. It's a beautiful part of the country and somewhere we only visit once per season. To give us a change from our regular roads, all routes will use the Natchez Trace to get to Hwy 7. It adds a little more elevation to the distances but a good opportunity to spin your legs in a group and chat. The 43 mile route takes Fly Road to the rest stop and both main routes come back via back via the new pavement on Raleigh Beard and the shade of Fox Branch, Chestnut Ridge and Garrison. The Collegial gang turn at fly and join the return route at Fox Branch
Tony P will be sweeping the Hoover gap route and Chuck Recktenwald has stepped forward to lead his first Collegial ride - thank you Chuck!
