Fairview Medley

It feels like we've not been to Fairview on a Saturday for a while, so we've dug back into the ride archive and found a selection of routes to take us up to, and over, Highway 100.

Starting with the ever popular Wilkins Branch climb, all riders stay together through to mile 14 where the longer routes split off for a large loop north of Fairview and a rest stop at mile 27. After their rest stop at mile 14, the short riders turn back via Sleepy Hollow and Caney Fork. The routes join up at the bridge over the South Harpeth from where the 50 milers retrace their tire tracks up Backbone and back to the school. The 37 + 58 mile routes head the other direction along Old Harding Pike before taking a left onto Big East. At the top of the climb the route takes Fire Tower road, then the 50yrd bushwhack onto the Trace before enjoying 6 (mostly) downhill miles to the finish. Riders can skip the Big east loop to save 6 miles / 500 ft of climbing.
