This Saturday, Don Mason will lead us from Hillsboro School. There are options of 35 and 48 miles. Both routes start out with the fun ups and downs of Bailey Road, followed by a bit more challenge on Bear Creek, ending with the fast descent down to Boston. Then we'll take the Old Trace for a while and wind up at Fly. From there, the Short route takes the Natchez Trace Parkway all the way back to Pinewood! Meanwhile, the Long riders go through scenic Water Valley and take that road to the rest stop at Santa Fe at mile 28. Then they come home by Gaskill Branch, Chestnut Ridge, and the nice descent on Sulphur Springs.
