Frolicking Around Fairview!
Hillsboro Elementary School in Leipers Fork, 5412 Pinewood Road, Franklin 37064
This Saturday we venture to the other side of Highway 100 to explore some of Fairview's scenic and smooth roads. There are a lot of great loops out there! The main climbs are Wilkins Branch and Cumberland in order to get out to Fairview most quickly. The majority of each of the courses is then rollers, with only minor climbs. We even get to ride Bradshaw and Barnhill and avoid the steep hill. The 53-mile route is the recommended route this week, which Dr. Michael will sweep. There are also options of 45 and 63 miles. Take your time and enjoy the ride!
We continue our Collegial Ride, designed for those who prefer to go at a calmer pace! This Saturday Bob Whitmer will lead the Collegial riders on the 35-mile Short route at a 14-15 mph pace. The Collegial Ride will begin at 8:00. The other routes will start at 7:30 because of their greater length and the anticipated hot temperatures. Here are the maps and cue sheets:
