HBC WINTER MIXER
RESCHEDULED to Sunday, January 28
To err on the side of safety, SNOWMAGEDDON 2024 has forced us to make a decision to RESCHEDULE the Winter Mixer that had been scheduled for this Sunday, January 21. From our HBC President Jim Keffer: "With a forecast calling for precipitation followed by temperatures below freezing through Sunday, the prospect for slippery, icy roads is likely. While some of our more intrepid friends relish the idea of tackling the elements, prudence indicates postponing to ensure the safety and peace of mind of our more cautious friends."
Thankfully we have confirmed that the venue, caterer, and music are all available to switch dates so the WINTER MIXER has been RESCHEDULED for just one week, to next Sunday, January 28. We appreciate your understanding (this wasn't an easy decision) and truly hope many of you are still able to attend. It will still be hosted at the Factory at Franklin in the Heritage Room from 5:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M..
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
If you have already RSVP'd and CAN still attend, no need to do anything further.
If you have already RSVP'd and CANNOT attend on the 28th (boo!), please respond to this e-mail so we can update your response.
If you are unsure if you RSVP'd and you CAN attend, please click the "RSVP HERE" button below, or you can respond to this e-mail and we can let you know if you have responded.
If you were unable to attend the event on the 21st, but CAN now attend on the 28th (yay!), please RSVP by clicking the "RSVP HERE" button below.
Join us for a catered meal, dessert, live music, awards, photo booth, and dancing! Food, non-alcoholic drinks, music, and awards will be provided by the club. A cash bar will be open for those who are interested in wine, beer, or cocktails. We invite you to set aside your cycling gear and wear festive, holiday attire!
Schedule of Events
5:00-5:30 PM - Cocktails/Photo booth
5:30-6:30 PM - Dinner & Desserts
6:30-7:00 PM - Awards (potentially earlier if dinner finishes sooner)
7:00-8:30 PM - Music/Dancing/Photo booth
*8:30-10:00 PM - Post-party at Skylight Bar (for anyone interested)
This event is a benefit of your club membership and is free for all HBC members + 1 guest.
The party is always a fun and memorable event and a highlight of the cycling season, so we hope you can attend!
