Moved to The Park at Harlinsdale Farm - Franklin

A reconnaissance mission at Percy Warner has reported that, whilst the snowy woodlands look beautiful, the trails are icy in places so that plan has failed the risk assessment. We will aim to do a Percy Warner hike at another time

Instead, tomorrow’s hike will be at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. The perimeter is largely flat and a little under 3 miles in total, so should take around 90 minutes. We will be on snow throughout the route so bring your warmest boots !

Roads into Harlinsdale are untreated and treacherous, so we will park at The Factory and walk across Franklin Road into the park. Afterwards, hikers can enjoy a warming beverage or something to eat at the many options in the Factory

Parking: The Factory, 320 Franklin Road, Franklin

Meet up: 11:00am in The Factory, just outside the entrance to Liberty Hall. Warm and with some seating!
