There's some rain around, but it looks like we may stay dry with a little later ride.  So RJ has DELAYED the start of today's ride until 10:00 and recommends the 51-mile route.

Westhaven parking lot, 1025 Westhaven Blvd., Franklin 37064 - take Hwy. 96 west from Franklin, turn left on Westhaven Blvd. at the traffic light, veer right onto State Blvd., and then take the very first left

This week's unique HBC ride will begin at Westhaven, like the regular Sunday ride.  Here is a map to guide you to the parking lot at Westhaven.  Westhaven Blvd. is directly across Hwy. 96 from the end of Old Charlotte at the big sign for Gentry Farm.  There's a traffic light there now.

We usually have eastside or westside rides, but RJ has both for this Saturday!  We'll start at Westhaven, ride through Thompson's Station, and wind up on Pulltight and Owen Hill!  Then we'll return by Goose Creek, Kittrell, and Coleman.  The full route is 61 miles, with rest stops available at miles 18, 25, and 48.  There is a 51-mile Medium option and a 37-mile Short option.  The 37-miler is fairly flat but doesn't make it over to the east side.  Here are the cue sheets:
