The Barlow Blast!
Hillsboro Elementary School in Leipers Fork, 5412 Pinewood Road, Franklin 37064

Bob and Michelle Barlow are still relatively new to our club but have quickly become leaders!  So this Saturday they will take us over some of their favorite roads - over to Burwood, along Robinson, and the very fun downhill on Davis Hollow!  The rest stop for everybody is at Burwood at mile 18.  There are three routes, of 33, 54, and 67 miles, and all cover these favorites.  After that, the Short riders return home, while the Medium and Long riders do scenic Oscar Green and the awesome run down Pewitt!  Then the Medium riders go home by Backbone Ridge, while the Long riders go over to Big East and Stillhouse.  Here are the cue sheets:

The Barlow Blast - Short - 33 miles - GPS

The Barlow Blast - Medium - 54 miles - GPS

The Barlow Blast - Long - 67 miles - GPS

MORE SATURDAY OPTIONS:

This is traditionally a big cycling weekend!  Saturday's options include:

The CRAM (Clarksville Rotary Annual Metric) - This is the classic, flat, fast Clarksville ride that all good area riders have done at one time or another!  You can try for a speed record on the flatlands of the Kentucky Pennyroyal area!  Although it's called a "metric," there are routes of 100, 62, 33, and 20 miles.  Check the link for more information and registration.

Horsey Hundred - Another classic ride, not too far away, takes riders through the Kentucky Bluegrass region, with beautiful scenery, horse farms, the Capitol at Frankfort, and rollers all day long!  Route options both Saturday and Sunday.  The ride starts at Georgetown, Kentucky, just 8 miles northwest of Lexington, and you can join with about 3,000 other riders!  Check the link above!
