HBC Sunday Ride
Westhaven parking lot, 1025 Westhaven Blvd., Franklin - take Hwy. 96 west from Franklin, turn left on Westhaven Blvd. at the traffic light, veer right onto State Blvd., and then take the very first left.
On Prime Season Sundays we will continue our rides from Westhaven. Please note the starting time has changed to 9:00. Here is a map to guide you to the parking lot at Westhaven. Westhaven Blvd. is directly across Hwy. 96 from the end of Old Charlotte at the big sign for Gentry Farm. There's a new traffic light there.

On most Sundays, we ride out Boyd Mill and then take the tough climb up Parker Branch. At the end of that road, various groups form for different distances and routes. It is easy to do a 25- or 30-mile route, although most regular riders will add miles along the way. Sometimes we start on the Old Pancake route over to Leipers Fork. At the start we will establish the approximate distance that various groups intend to ride. Many riders will do a 50- or 60-mile ride.
Here's a suggested 50-mile route that, after Parker Branch, takes Old 96 to Fernvale, then Caney Fork, Sleepy Hollow, and Liberty to Fairview, and then travels a fun loop beyond Fairview. After a rest stop at mile 28, it takes the nice stretch on Cumberland back to Fernvale before riding Old Harding to the tough climb up big East and the Stillhouse descent! Here's the cue sheet developed by Treasurer Dan:
