Today's regular HBC ride, previously scheduled for 8:00 from Westhaven, is CANCELLED due to rain.  It looks like a very wet morning!

This will allow us time to recover from Weldon's awesome ride through Hickman County yesterday!

HBC Sunday Ride 

Westhaven parking lot, from Hwy. 96 take Westhaven Blvd to State Blvd. and then the first leftThe starting location for the Sunday ride has been moved to Westhaven, at least for the present time.  The construction on Del Rio and Hwy. 96 is so extensive that it is unsafe to get to Boyd Mill Road from Hunters Bend, and the options using other roads are more difficult and limited.  We realize that Hunters Bend is more convenient for Nashville and Brentwood folks, so we will reconsider this when the permanent configuration of the roads in that area becomes clear.  Here is a map to guide you to the parking lot at Westhaven: Westhaven Parking lot

We will continue the past practice of offering a fairly short Sunday ride.  Many members will add miles along the route, and at the start we will establish the approximate distance that various small groups intend to ride.  The standard route goes out Boyd Mill, up Parker Branch, along Hargrove to Pinewood and Bending Chestnut, and back by Garrison, Bailey, and Alpakistan to the old Pancake route.  It is 30 miles in length.  In the summertime, many riders will do a 50 or 60-mile ride.  Here is the cue sheet for the standard 30-mile route:  HBC Sunday Ride - 30 miles - GPS
