See the Goats of Rutherford County!

This Saturday Tony Pile will lead an eastside ride into Rutherford County where a recent reconn mission reported a high number of goats.  We hope they will stay in their fields and keep off the roads! 

The start is at Cecil Lewis Park at Trinity.  There are 40- and 55-mile options, with both loops taking in Almaville on the way out and Rudderville on the way back.  The longer route tackles the full Burke Hollow climb and ventures down to Rockvale.  The shorter route riders can enjoy the rarely ridden Skinner Road and some brand new pavement on Coleman Hill Road.  Gas station stops are at Almaville (16 miles short/19 miles long) and at Hwy 99 (30 miles long).  Our most diligent ride leader has driven the route and found the roads to be quite good - no chip-and-seal and just a few winter potholes.   There are a few busy roads to cross, but nothing unusual.  Tony will call them out before the ride and they are noted in the cue sheets below.
