During the off-season from November through March, the club sponsors a ride each Saturday morning at 9:00 A.M. from Hillsboro Elementary School in Leipers Fork.  Fearless Leader Durk Peterson designs and sweeps these “Polar Bear Rides.”  The routes go south and west into varied and scenic riding territory.  The course is usually around 50 miles, but may be shorter depending on winter weather conditions.  Shorter options will also be designated.  Rain or snow will cancel the ride, but the Polar…
