Today’s HBC ride, previously scheduled at 9:00 from Clovercroft Elementary School, is CANCELLED due to heavy rain.  The day looks like a washout.

We predict lots of indoor riding today!

RIDE CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN – Saturday, Jan. 19 – 9:00 A.M. – Return to Burke Hollow! – Clovercroft Elementary School, 9336 Clovercroft Rd., Franklin 37067 – For Saturday, we’ll check out some favorite eastside roads on a very moderate course.  There are options of 35, 43, and 54 miles.  The routes travel together for the first 16 miles to the Almaville Market.  To get there, all riders will enjoy Burke Hollow, a fun road with a blast of a long descent after the stinger in the middle!  After the rest stop, the Long riders will take a pleasant run down Snail Shell Road to Rockvale and come home by Taliaferro and Cox.  Meanwhile, the Medium route will cover Coleman Hill and Cox, while the Short riders come back by Independent Hill and McCanless.  Here are the cue sheets:

Each Saturday during the off-season (Nov.-Mar), the Harpeth Bike Club sponsors a ride at 9:00 A.M.
