Today’s HBC ride, previously scheduled at 9:00 from Hillsboro Elem. School, is CANCELLED.  While there may be some mid-morning clearing, it’s just too sketchy to get the club on the road.

RIDE CANCELLED due to rain — Saturday, April 22 – 9:00 A.M. – Gardens Galavant! – Hillsboro Elem. School in Leipers Fork, 5412 Pinewood Rd. – It’s iris time in Tennessee, so this Saturday we will head out to see the outstanding display of our State flower at Iris City Gardens on Younger Creek.  We’ll also enjoy Oscar Green’s smooth new pavement in the opposite direction from the Kickoff Ride, which means mainly uphill!  There are options of 50 and 35 miles; the routes travel together through the Gardens to a rest stop at Fairview.  Then the Short route climbs Backbone Ridge to get home, while the Long riders take on Big East and Stillhouse!  Larry will sweep the ride.  Here are the cue sheets:

Gardens Galavant – Long route
