Map to Hunter’s Bend

A classic HBC event is the Sunday morning Pancake Ride. It starts at Hunters Bend Elementary School in Fieldstone Farms, just north of Franklin off of Hillsboro Road. The regular route is 28 miles, with a significant climb on Parker Branch. For that route the cue sheet is here:
Pancake Ride-Parker Branch Route
Here’s a GPS version of this Pancake route, with a map and elevation chart:
GPS Pancake Ride

Riders may also take a 25-mile route that is somewhat easier but includes a short, steep climb up “Dolly” hill. For that route, the cue sheet along with a map and elevation profile are here:
Traditional Pancake Cue Sheet

This is not called the Pancake Ride because it is flat or easy, but because riders may have pancakes and other treats at Puckett’s! The route is moderately hilly and some will find it challenging. Riders should be at least intermediate beginners to try it. Of course, many riders will add extra miles from Puckett’s.
