RIDE CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN – Saturday, Feb. 17 – 9:00 A.M. – Polar Bear Ride – Water Valley Wander! – Hillsboro Elementary School in Leipers Fork, 5412 Pinewood Road – Saturday looks like a good day, finally!  Durk is going to repeat a fun ride from a month ago, which some folks missed because of ice on the Old Trace.  There shouldn’t be any ice this time, and those who did the full route last time really liked it.  It covers some of our favorite places in Maury County – Fly, Santa Fe, and Water Valley!  Along the way we’ll check out the smooth new pavement on the Old Trace and return to Mingo Branch and the gently rolling terrain of Chestnut Ridge.  The full route is 54 miles.  There is a 31.5-mile short option, the Fly Foray, that returns directly from Fly on Leipers Creek.  It is also easy to modify the route for 40 or 44 miles.  Here are the cue sheets:
