The ride formerly known as the Fall 200K

ImageWe had great weather for the Fall 200.  It was generally cool and overcast although I understand there were a few hot climbs.

Riders came from all over the southeast for the ride.  The states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee were all represented.

A social romp in the country.

We had a great ride and turnout in The Pocket area north of Rome on 8/16.  The participants spanned from very experienced randonneurs, club riders like the nanimals and rock stars like the Gran Fondo Fixies.  Of the 18 folks along for the ride more that 6 were on either single speeds or fixed gear bikes.  The rolling course was very suitable for both.  It was also suitable for just chatting and enjoying the view.
