Randonneurs USA (RUSA), is the bicyclist's resource for information about randonneuring in the USA! Randonneuring is long-distance unsupported endurance cycling. This style of riding is non-competitive in nature, and self-sufficiency is paramount. When riders participate in randonneuring events, they are part of a long tradition that goes back to the beginning of the sport of cycling in France and Italy. The Bluegrass Cycling Club (BCC) is based in Lexington, Kentucky and serves the Bluegrass Region of central Kentucky and surrounding areas. Typically, BCC organizes a full BRM series in the PBP year and the year prior. In the post-PBP year usually only a 200 is organized. The year after, a 200 and a 300 are organized. The next PBP year is 2007. Johnny Bertrand is the Regional Brevet Administrator (RBA) for the BCC.
